Mike Krieg and I have endured the best and worst of markets. Mike and I began working together in 2007. Mikes' listings with me sold as they were finished ( new homes). The market was still fairly stable and all the regular methods were used to market the homes. The closings were organized and on time.
2008 brought a new set of circumstances. As we approached this year we found ourselves in a wilderness with few buyers to be seen or if seen were distant. This is when Mike and I worked in a collaborative effort to effect sales. Mike brought forth numerous new ideas to sell my homes and to serve his clients. To my knowledge Mike was the first to offer a car giveaway. Mike also enhanced buyer value by including ( at his expense) buyer warranties of 5 years on all my homes. We also set up a model home of which he staffed consistently even when traffic was low and odds seemed against us.
Mike always maintained a can-do attitude. Mike remained positive in a tough market even when my outlook was to put it mildly " gloomy ". Mike would not quit in representing my properties even when the market turned and things seemed ominous that we could not succeed. The proof in what I am saying is not only in my words, but in the results Mike has provided me. Even as we approached the last two days of our listing agreement. Mike fought on. With that relentless work ethic,all of my homes are not sitting vacant and happy homeowners are in each one. The future is untold, but I am confident Mike will work to be creative and reach resolution if it can be had.
